This Clinic will feature Division II National Coordinator of Umpires Jon Browar, Division II Sunshine State Conference/NAIA Sun Conference Coordinator Josh Miller, and FCU assignor and Division II World Series Crew Chief John Bennett. Additional instructors with NCAA and MiLB experience will enhance your experience.
*Crew Chief responsibilities
*Mechanics and positioning of plate and base umpires in two and three umpire systems
*Expert instruction in working the plate, covering stances, tracking the pitch, proper timing, and developing a consistent strike zone - we will also feature the use of Trackman with instant feedback
*Learn through live-game action, classroom rulebook sessions, cage work, and field drills
*Master handling situations
*Instruction also covers effectively issuing warnings and writing reports
